Anime theme songs, soundtracks from movies, tv shows, video games, etc. Of course I support the music industry, but DLs are easier and more convenient.
WELL that was fun. SO ANYWAYS, Sadie and I went to Anime North this weekend. AND IT WAS THE SHIT.
Friday night, we left right after school. We watched Anchorman(Crossed off the list of movies I need to watch), and then checked into the hotel. While checking in, there was this weird German priest guy and his family, who apparently lost their luggage. How unfortunate. Then we went to this AMAZING sushi place called Hitoke or something. We got three sushi plates, and soup. After dinner, we went into the hotel's hot tub, then complained about their shitty internet, and Sadie's lack of pre-registration confirmation, which was apparently non-existant. Then we brushed our wigs (a bizzare sight), Sadie painted her nails, and we watched House, The Simpsons, and Seinfeld before we hit the ol' dusty trail.
Saturday morning, we woke up at quarter to 7, had breakfast at the hotel, the got on our costumes. I was Karin, and she was Konan, both from Naruto. We then drove down to the convention centre, and stood in live for an hour. I say the line is the best part, because you get the chance to jump the random cosplayers walking by. After registration, we pretty much wandered around for a good two hours, before going into the Dealer's Room and Artist's Alley. That's where all the good stuff is. I bought 2 posters in the Dealer's Room, a Fullmetal Alchemist one, and a Fruits Basket one, then at Artist's Alley, I bought an Avatar poster from one of the artists, and a random fruit drawing from another. I also stocked up on Pocky and random fruit candy in the Dealer's room. After that, we watched some EPIC fake wrestling, and took part in the HUGEASS Naruto photoshoot. It was huge, But halfway through, all the Narutos started raping all the Sasuke's, so we decided it was time to go. We watched Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist on the way home (Another one off the list). Overall, epic weekend. Cosplaying made it SO much better. Although, Sadie got glomped TWICE, which was a bit bizzare. Oh well.
